Free to Air Satellite TV in West Africa

I have noticed the installation of Free to Air Satellite dish with both C and Ku band in West Africa and would like to know the kind of TV stations and satellites which are accessible from West Africa. I wouldn't mind knowing the transponder frequency, Symbol Rate and Polarization if it isn't much trouble. Thanks.

dish 500/dishpro LNB setup

I am using a dish 500 antenna and a dishpro LBN when I set it up at the AZ EL Skew (My latitude is 34" 3.348N) (longitude 78" 54.966W) I have dish set at (AZ 236) (EL 38.4)(Skew 37.4) I get no signal quality, I am using a Pansat2700A.

I have a pansat DiSEqC 4x1 switch and all the settings are correct on the programing. I am confused. I have tried moving the dish left ...

Freesat and HD lip sync

Not sure whether this post belongs in the FTA section or not (but I don't really think anyone expects to find a Freesat box in the Receiver section), but here goes anyway...

I'm using the Humax Foxsat-HD receiver, and I've noticed (it would be impossible not to!) that there's a major lip sync problem on HD channels in non-Freesat mode (though not too bad on BBC-HD - that's almost okay). Luxe (on 28.2E and 9E) ...
