Hello, I am considering installing DirecTV system at 12N, -68W.  Does this area fall in the footprint of DirecTV satellites?
I have performed the Lat/Long install program and find that I am able to aim at the satellites. I wonder if DirecTV transmits a controlled

I'm trying to figure out whether I can take my DirecTV boxes from here in the U.S. with me when I move to Costa Rica next year, and have them work with a properly positioned dish. I've heard that the 119 satellite is the only one visible down there, but is there any way for me to tell whether this is doable?

I have DirectV mobile in southern Baja. I am only getting part of my subscription. I have good strength from transponders 6 and 10 but it is coming from the 101 degree satellite. When I am mobile in the states I get all the transponders from the 110 deg. satellite. Is it possible to get a signal from the 110 satellite here or is it a spot signal. How do I catch the 95 satellite that directv has. I have an elliptical dish that catches 101, 119 and 110.
Can I use a normal 18 inch dish to get 95? Or do i need a special dish?

Where would i need to point it in terms of the azmimuth etc.? Can someone help?
