How can I split my satellite signal between two receivers?

Depending on the satellite dish will depend on the mutiswitch installed. Dishnetwork uses DP34 DP44 which range from $35 up and are mostly used to tie more than one dish together as well as expand the amount of recievers that can be connected. . Directtv has 3x4 (cheap for 101 sat ) switch two sat lines in and 4 lines out to recievers. Directtv also has a 6x8 which is best switch for high end dishes such as HD but four lines must be connected to the inputs. Most of the dishes that use more than one satelite have built in multiswitches and require a compatible switch. Dishnetwork has recievers that can serve two televisions from one box and they use a radio antenna to allow you to change channels on the second tv. This works great as long as there isnt too much distance between the rooms. Both tvs can view separate channels at the same time. But if you just want to add another line buy a multiswitch and install it on the dish mast. Run all the lines in and run as many lines out as your switch allows. Remember the reciever will not work until its been activated.

You need a multiplexer. Large rectangular item that will take the satellite signals from the dish and allow numerous outputs to numerous receivers. I do beleieve you need a minimum of two connections ffrom the dish though. Speak with the satellite provider.
