dish 500/dishpro LNB setup

Postby flashsc1 » Wed Jul 06, 2005 12:35 am

I am using a dish 500 antenna and a dishpro LBN when I set it up at the AZ EL Skew (My latitude is 34" 3.348N) (longitude 78" 54.966W) I have dish set at (AZ 236) (EL 38.4)(Skew 37.4) I get no signal quality, I am using a Pansat2700A.

I have a pansat DiSEqC 4x1 switch and all the settings are correct on the programing. I am confused. I have tried moving the dish left right up down but nothing. I also have an old Sony dish that I used with a directv system some years ago and if I hook up that dish I get a strong signal. The switch and the LNBs are good. What is the difference in the dish500 and a regular dish? Can anyone help? Please I am getting very frustrated and need some help!
