Hi All,
I have been trying forever now to pick up the direct tv signal from St.Lucia in the Caribbean.

Latitude 14 deg North
Longitude 61 deg West

I have a thirty nine inch satellite dish. The direct tv package is from Canada. Can some one please help me? I have the receiver, card, satelltie finder and dish but I still can't get through. What am i doing wrong? I've tried all coordinates. Someone please HELP

Dear Raoul,

With that size dish you would never be able to pick up DIRECTV USA from your location. You would need a 2.4m offset antenna or larger to pick up the signal. This is because you are far from the footprint. My suggestion is to purchase a larger antenna.

trinsat is right Raoul. You need to buy a new antenna that is large enough for you to pick up the signals correctly.
